Agreement

By using TLKS you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The terms apply to every page under https://tlks.io, including the tool pages, the editorial pages and the optional AI features.

What you may do

You may use every tool on TLKS free of charge, for personal projects, learning, internal work and commercial work. No account is required, and no attribution is required in the output you generate. You keep all rights to your input and to the results you produce with it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the infrastructure serving it.
• Scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other visitors, or resell the site as a whole as your own product.
• Use the tools to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to process data you are not permitted to process.
• Use the optional AI features in a way that violates the terms of the provider you connected.
• Remove or misrepresent the origin of the site in a way intended to deceive.

We may restrict access if the site is being abused. Because there are no accounts, that restriction would apply to the request rather than to a person.

Your input and your privacy

Client-side tools process your input entirely in your browser, and TLKS never receives it. The optional AI tools send your input to a provider only when you have connected one and explicitly asked for a result. What TLKS stores on your device, and what the hosting and font providers see, is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Third-party providers

If you connect an OpenAI-compatible provider, that relationship is between you and the provider. Their availability, pricing, rate limits, acceptable use policy and data handling are outside our control, and TLKS is not responsible for a request that fails, is throttled or is answered incorrectly.

Availability and changes

TLKS is a small independent project. Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable during maintenance or because of an outage at the hosting provider. There is no service level agreement and no guarantee of continued availability of any individual tool. URLs are intended to be stable, and a tool that is retired will say so rather than silently redirect.

Intellectual property

The site's name, design, layout, editorial text and source code are owned by their respective authors and are protected by copyright. Your input and your tool output are not covered by that claim. Generating a configuration file, a regular expression or a Go struct with a tool does not transfer any rights to or from TLKS.

No warranty

The site and every tool are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and freedom from errors. Generated output such as a Dockerfile, a Kubernetes manifest, an Nginx configuration or a regular expression is a starting point that you must review before use. See the disclaimer for the practical version of this.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TLKS and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is zero.

Governing terms and changes

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
